Water, wastewater and treatment plants
Water transmission lines, treatment plants and pumping stations are usually low-to-medium pressure but large-diameter lines. EN 1092-1 PN 10 / PN 16 flanges and AWWA C207 flanges are the most used products here.
On large water lines the flange is chosen by diameter and by the equipment it connects to more than by pressure: valves, pumps, flow meters and dismantling joints must share the same drilling standard.
On HDPE pipelines, loose (backing) flanges are used with PE stub ends; between steel and ductile pipe, Dablin flanges are preferred. Treatment plants also use stainless steel 304 / 316L flanges and fittings.
What we supply
- Plate and blind flanges (EN 1092-1 PN 10 / PN 16)
- AWWA C207 flanges
- PE (HDPE) stub-end flanges and loose flanges
- Dablin flanges
- Large-diameter welded tees and reducers
- Stainless 304 / 316L flanges and fittings
Points to check
- Match the drilling of valve and pump flanges (PN 10 and PN 16 differ in some sizes).
- Define coating and corrosion protection for buried lines according to the specification.
- Plan weight and transport early for large diameters.
