Spectacle blinds, spades and spacers

We produce spectacle blinds, spades and spacers used to positively isolate lines for maintenance or testing.

One side of a spectacle blind is solid, the other is a ring. In service the ring sits between the flanges; to isolate, the blind side is turned in.

In large sizes separate spades and spacers are preferred to a spectacle blind.
